As part of its strong commitment towards community and social initiatives, Bank Sohar had supported the Private School Forum at Governance of Dhofar held under the auspices of H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Omar bin Said al Marhoon, Minister of Civil Service. The event was organized by International Aromas for Exhibitions and Festivals LLC in collaboration with the General Directorate of Private Schools at Ministry of Education to showcasethe education system in Dhofar Governance, its outstanding academic performance and choice of meritorious institutions.

Commenting on the event, Ms. Munira Abdulnabi Macki, GM – HR & Corporate Support, said, “Bank Sohar has always maintained cordial relations with ministries and other governmental bodies and supports a number of their events and initiatives due to their importance and positive impact on the society.  Events such as this provide an opportunity for the Bank to showcase the array of financial solutions that it provides to existing and potential customers.  The Private Schools Forum also provided an ideal platform to present the Bank’s RakizWaSouq road safety campaign and its unique strategy of deploying school children as its ambassadors to spread awareness on the crucial subject of road safety.”

Representing Bank Sohar at a dedicated stall during the event was Mr. Amur Said Al Amri, Senior Chief Manager of Salalah Branch alongside a team from the Salalah Branch that welcomed the visitors and provided them with an introduction to the various solutions that Bank Sohar can provide them in order to fulfill their financial needs and requirements.  The team also shined light on the Bank’s ongoing CSR RakizWaSouq road safety campaign reflecting the Bank’s strong commitment and involvement in this important aspect.

Concluding the seven days event, Bank Sohar was honoured on the last day for sponsoring the event during a ceremony held under the patronage of Ms. Fatma Noorani, Director of the General Directorate of Private Schools.  The event witnessed Mr. Amur Said Al Amri, Senior Chief Manager of Salalah Branch receive the token of appreciation on behalf of the Bank.
