Riyadh, KSA : Advanced Electronics Company (AEC) today announced that it will participate as part of Saudi Arabia’s pavilion in the 24th edition of the World Energy Congress (WEC) set to take place from 9-12 September in Abu Dhabi under the patronage of H.H. Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE.
As part of its participation in the triennial event organized by the World Energy Council, AEC will showcase its wide-ranging portfolio of innovative, efficient and sustainable energy solutions such as its integrated Smart Meters and advanced Smart Cities Solutions. The company will also explore new industry collaboration opportunities to accelerate the localization of Saudi Arabia’s domestic energy sector, facilitate the transfer of technology, and develop a highly skilled talent pool in line with the directives of the Saudi Vision 2030.

AEC will introduce visitors to its latest innovations and unmatched capabilities in the production, distribution, and conservation of energy, including integrated Smart Meter and Smart Cities solutions.
Using Advanced Metering Infrastructure (AMI), which helps measure, collect, analyze, and optimize energy usage, AEC’s Smart Meters provides its customers with deep insights into their utility consumption to enable them to reduce their operational costs.
The 2019 edition of WEC, which was launched in 1924, marks the first time the event is held in the Middle East and North Africa region and aims to bring together international energy stakeholders, including governments, private and state corporations, academia and media. With a 40,000-sqm exhibition space, the Congress is expected to welcome over 15,000 participants including over 250 high-level speakers, 70 ministers, and 500 CEOs.
