CAIRO - Egypt's state grains buyer, the General Authority for Supply Commodities (GASC,) said on Tuesday it bought 470,000 tonnes of wheat for shipment Sept. 1-10.

GASC said the purchase was comprised of 350,000 tonnes of Russian wheat and 120,000 tonnes of Ukraine wheat.

Traders gave the following breakdown of the purchase in dollars per tonne:
