SKM Testing Lab, an affiliate of S.K.M Air Conditioning LLC – one of the most prominent manufacturers of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) equipment in the Gulf – is proud to launch a new test facility located in Sharjah, UAE with the capacity to test a range of air conditioning equipment in multimode.

The test facility is a psychrometric testing chamber capable of testing Packaged Units up to 10 TR, Fan Coil Units (DX and Chilled Water both), Air Handlers and Split Systems in cooling and heating mode. The test facility has a state-of-the-art control and measurement system that allows automated control with high accuracy in the least test time.

SKM Testing Lab quality management system has been developed and accredited as per ISO 17025 (ILAC) with emphasis on the quality of both management and technical competency. Additionally, SKM Testing Lab has certifications from recognised Regional and International Certification bodies such as AHRI, SASO (KSA) and MEW (Kuwait). 
The new test facility is not only added to existing SKM testing facilities, but it is one of the steps of more test facilities that will be built soon. It is in line with SKM’s vision to establish an independent test facility that will cater for the region’s certification and testing requirements.

The test facilities are not limited to SKM’s product line but are also open to other HVAC manufacturers, clients and authorities local and worldwide offering them comprehensive testing services portfolio at competitive prices; saving them time and speeding up the process of product certification.
