Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority announced the appointment of Daniel Taylor in the position of Vice President Marketing, PR & Events. Dan is responsible for overseeing the key communications and experiential marketing functions within Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, promoting the destination brand overseas and regionally.
 
Dan is an experienced senior executive having spent 20 years working within a variety of industries, namely telecommunications, property development, consultancy, media and advertising, holding key roles in successful companies both in the UAE and internationally. It is this wide range of brand and communications experience he brings to his new role with the Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority leadership team.
 
Before joining Ras Al Khaimah Tourism Development Authority, Dan looked after brand development and communications for du, the region’s fourth largest telecoms operator and one of the UAE’s ten largest brands. Here he was responsible for overseeing all key brands across the business group. Prior to this Dan held regional roles with Dubai Holding and MCN/IPG Group.
 
Dan is British, and has been fortunate enough to have spent a significant part of his life working in multinational environments, living in a few places around the world, including Singapore, the US and the UAE. Whilst enjoying working and travelling in many more.
 
The appointment is in line with RAKTDA’s strategic priority to grow the Authorities capabilities further and allowing a focus on key development needs in a dynamic environment.
