HAMBURG  - Jordan's main state grains buyer has again issued an international tender to purchase 120,000 tonnes of hard milling wheat, European traders said on Monday.

Tender deadline is Oct. 24.

The tender seeks shipment in a range of possible combinations in 60,000 tonne consignments between Jan. 16 and Feb. 28, 2019, traders said.

The wheat can be sourced from optional origins.

Jordan has had difficulty making purchases in a series of grain tenders in recent months, with traders saying uncertainty about quality specifications and payment terms has reduced participation by major grain exporting houses

But some recent tenders have been more successful. Jordan bought 60,000 tonnes of wheat in its previous tender on Oct.17.
