Cairo – Mubasher: The unaudited financial results of East Delta Flour Mills showed a 24.2% year-on-year profit decrease during the first half of fiscal year 2019/2020.

Net profits dropped to EGP 49.94 million during the six-month period ended 31 December 2019, compared to EGP 65.9 million in the year-ago period, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Sunday.

Meanwhile, revenues fell to EGP 227.7 million in H1 of FY19/20 from EGP 251.8 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.

It is noteworthy that during the first quarter of FY19/20, the company’s net profits amounted to EGP 24.9 million, compared to EGP 32.9 million in the same period of FY18/19.
