Abu Dhabi City Municipality:

In concurrence with the UAE launch of the UAE-China Week celebrating the visit of  the Chinese President HE Xi Jinping to the United Arab Emirates, the Abu Dhabi City Municipality, represented by the Building Permits Division, has issued the first building permit in the Chinese language. The license was for a project of the China-UAE Industrial Capacity Cooperation (Jiangsu) and Construction Company at Khalifa Industrial City. The initiative is a kind of contribution of the Municipality in celebrations of the visit of the Chinese President to the UAE, and a gesture of welcome for this event.

The Municipality is striving to deliver the vision of His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE; His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai; and His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi and Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces. Such a vision calls for shaping the future and adopting innovation to enhance sustainable development across all global competitiveness sectors for a happy future and a better life for future generations.

Through adopting sustainable development, flexible policies and modern services to attract foreign companies and investments, where China plays a key role, the Municipality is keen on nurturing an attractive environment and stimulating growth. For this sake, it has launched digital services to respond to customer requirements, especially foreign investment companies operating in Abu Dhabi.

The Municipality of Abu Dhabi City is in constant pursuit to improve services to realise the vision of a municipal system that is efficient, focused on sustainable development and capable of boosting the quality of life in Abu Dhabi city. The civic body is ready to roll out premium services in support of the Chinese investments in Khalifa Industrial City and overcoming all challenges faced by investment companies.

Figures and statistics underscore the importance of the UAE-China partnership and its ability to thrive judging by the scale of non-oil trade exchange. The UAE's pioneering business environment has also attracted thousands of Chinese companies operating in the country, including free zone companies.
