HAMBURG- Tunisia's state grains agency is believed to have purchased about 75,000 tonnes of animal feed barley to be sourced from optional origins in an international tender which closed on Thursday, traders said in initial assessments of the purchase.

Final confirmation of the purchase was still awaited.

The barley was believed to have been bought in three 25,000 tonne consignments all at around $204.29 a tonne c&f from trading house Glencore, they said.

The barley was sought for shipment in April to May in three 25,000 tonne consignments depending on origin selected, they said.
