HAMBURG- The lowest offer in an international tender from Tunisia's state grains agency on Wednesday to purchase 92,000 tonnes of soft milling wheat was $259.22 a tonne c&f for optional-origin supplies, European traders said.

This was followed by a separate offer of $259.25 a tonne c&f.

No purchase has yet been made and results are expected later on Wednesday, they said.

Other wheat offers included $260.11 and $260.22 a tonne c&f.

The lowest offer in the tender for 50,000 tonnes of animal feed barley was $245.69 a tonne c&f followed by $246.29 a tonne c&f.

The Tunisian agency does not always purchase the lowest offer if other conditions connected with the offer are considered unattractive.

Wheat shipment is sought in a range of dates between Feb. 15 and March 25 according to origins supplied.

The barley is sought in two 25,000 tonne consignments for shipment between Feb. 25 and March 25, also depending on origin.
