CAIRO  - Egypt's state buyer ESIIC bought 50,000 tonnes of raw Brazilian sugar, traders said on Wednesday.

The sugar is for August arrival and was purchased at $297 a tonne from Louis Dreyfus in a tender that closed Saturday, one of the traders said.
