Dubai-based healthcare and education investment company Amanat Holdings PJSC said it has acquired real estate belonging to Abu Dhabi’s Cambridge Medical and Rehabilitation Centre (CMRC) for 46 million dirhams ($12.5 million).

The transaction is Amanat’s first investment in healthcare real estate, the company said in a statement to Dubai Financial Market (DFM) on Sunday.

The acquisition is in line with Amanat’s strategy to create a Social Infrastructure Platform, aimed at creating a diversified portfolio of real estate assets with a sustainable and resilient yield, it said.

The property comprises two three-leveled building blocks with 106 inpatient licensed beds alongside rehabilitation facilities including 14 outpatient rooms, three gyms and a series of other amenities, Amanat added.
