The UAE will start issuing tourist visas for travellers from all across the world starting tomorrow, provided they have received full doses of COVID-19 vaccines approved by the WHO.

This decision includes countries from which entry was previously banned. Tourists will also have to do a mandatory rapid PCR test at the airport, the National Emergency Crisis and Disasters Management Authority (NCEMA) announced on Saturday.

To avail all the facilities granted to vaccinated people in the UAE, fully vaccinated tourists can also register their vaccination certificates through the Federal Authority of Identity and Citizenship (ICA) or Al Hosn app, NCEMA said.

According to data available with NCEMA, 75.59 percent of the UAE population has taken two doses of the vaccine and 18,056,765 vaccine doses have been provided until yesterday.
