Arabtec Holding, a leading contractor for social and economic infrastructure, has announced that its wholly-owned subsidiary, Arabtec Construction has been awarded an Dh219 million ($60 million) project in India by Raheja Developers.

As per the deal, the Dubai group will build Navin Minar development, a 42-storey residential tower, located 2 km from Delhi Airport with a total built up area of 214,000 sq m.

The scope of work includes construction of the tower with 4 basements and associated works including landscaping, utilities, swimming pools, club house, sports and community facilities and 15 community housing towers which are 15 storeys each.

Acting Group CEO Peter Pollard said: "We look forward to building on our partnership with Raheja Developers and to the successful delivery of the Navin Minar project in India."

The project works will commence immediately and will be completed within a three-year period, he added.-TradeArabia News Service
