Former Googler and Head of Rocket Internet to Oversee Truecaller's Regional Operations as Company looks to Accelerate Global Expansion Opportunities
Dubai - Truecaller today announces the appointment of Husain Misherghi as Vice President of Growth & Partnerships for Middle East and North Africa. Misherghi will lead the company's operations in the region and will focus on growing the user base and establishing partnerships across the ecosystem as Truecallerseeks to consolidate its leadership position in a region that represents a key growth market for the brand.
Prior to Truecaller, Misherghi was the head of Rocket Internet Middle East where he co-founded Namshi.com, the Middle East's leading ecommerce destination for fashion and lifestyle, among other businesses. He was also the CEO of Foodonclick.com, the largest online food delivery portal in the UAE. He began his career at Google as a Financial Analyst in Mountain View, California.

In Egypt,Truecaller has been rising in popularity by becoming a top app in the app store, which has lead to one-fourth of the population installing the app.
