National Food Products Company (NFPC), the UAE-based Food and Beverage organisation, has signed an exclusive partnership agreement with Al Ain Sports and Cultural Club for the next three years, enabling it to be the sole beverage supplier to Al Ain Football Club which operates under the Cultural Club. In return, the agreement will see NFPC entitled to a range of club branding and hospitality rights, including player participation and appearances at NFPC events and use of the AFC logo and players’ images on NFPC products packaging. 

The MoU was signed at an official ceremony held at Al Ain Football Club in, between NFPC’s Chairman, HE. Faraj Ali Bin Hamoodah, Chairman, and H.E Khalifa Yousif Abdulla Husain Khouri, Deputy Chairman of Al Ain Club Board.

NFPC supplies over 50% of the UAE population with its drinking water, dairy, juice, and bakery products, through its household brands, which include Oasis Water, Blu Sparkling Water, Lacnor Milk and Juices, Laban Up, Gulf & Safa, Milco Dairy, Melco Juices and Royal Bakers. All these brands will be supplied to Al Ain Club for staff during events.

Al Ain Football Club was founded in 1968 and is one of the most successful football teams in the UAE, having won a range of tournaments including 13 UAE Pro-League, six President’s Cups, three Federation Cups, one Arabian Gulf Cup, five Super Cups, two Abu Dhabi Championship Cups, one Joint League Cup, an Emirati-Moroccan Super Cup, the Gulf Club Champions Cup, and the AFC Champions League, being the the first and only UAE team so far to win this esteemed tournament. The club operates from three home grounds in Al Ain - Tahnoun bin Mohammed Stadium, Sheikh Khalifa International Stadium, and Hazza bin Zayed Stadium.
