HAMBURG  - Jordan's main state grains buyer has again issued an international tender to purchase 120,000 tonnes of hard milling wheat, European traders said on Monday.

The tender deadline is Oct. 17.

The tender seeks shipment in a range of possible combinations in 60,000 tonne consignments between Dec. 16, 2018, and Feb. 14, 2019, traders said.

Jordan has had difficulty making purchases in a series of grain tenders in recent months, with traders saying uncertainty about quality specifications and payment terms has reduced participation by major grain exporting houses.

Jordan made no purchase in its last reported wheat tender on Sept. 27 when only two trading houses took part.
