Cairo -  Egypt-based Asmak Co has raised its stake in Porto Group Holding to 18.75% from 18.17% in a deal valued at EGP 3.96 million.

Asmak has purchased 6.77 million shares in Porto at a total price of EGP 0.59 per share, according to a bourse filing on Monday.

It is noteworthy to mention that during the first half (H1) of 2021, the company turned to consolidated net profits of EGP 71.79 million, versus net losses of EGP 24.7 million in the year-ago period, including minority shareholders' rights.
