Tunisia's state grains agency is believed to have purchased an estimated 67,000 tonnes of soft milling wheat in an international tender which closed on Thursday, European traders said in initial assessments.

The grains can all be sourced from optional origins.

The wheat was believed to have been bought in three consignments, one of 25,000 tonnes at $209.72 a tonne c&f from trading house Olam, one of 17,000 tonnes at $212.89 a tonne c&f from Casillo and one of 25,000 tonnes at $206.89 a tonne c&f from GrainCorp.

The wheat was sought for shipment between June 25 and July 25, depending on origin selected.
