ArabFinance: The Egyptian health ministry reported 633 additional COVID-19 infections as well as 39 new fatalities on February 23rd.
The new divs increased the total count of the cases to 179,407 and the death toll to 10,443 since the pandemic escalated last year.
Egypt currently has 138,683 total recoveries after 500 new patients have been discharged from quarantine hospitals, the health ministry noted.
The countrys daily number of cases has been below the 1,000 mark since January 9th.
