COVID-19: Egypt reports 167 new cases

ArabFinance: Egypt recorded 167 new coronavirus cases, taking the tally to 95,314 cases, according to an August 8th statement by the health ministry.

This marks the seventh successive day for the ministry to register daily cases below the 200-mark.

Total recoveries reached 51,672 after reporting 1,119 new patients who have been discharged after recovering from the virus.

The ministry recorded 21 new deaths, raising the toll to 4,992.

Approximately 50,000 travelers arrived in the coastal cities of Sharm el Sheikh and Hurghada over the past month.
