COVID-19: Egypt records 845 new cases

ArabFinance: The health ministry in Egypt announced 845 new coronavirus cases on April 17th, raising the total count to 215,484 since the pandemic started in 2020.

41 new deaths were reported, while death toll hit 12,694.

Egypt currently has 162,714 total recoveries after 544 new patients have been discharged from quarantine hospitals, the health ministry noted.

The number of daily cases in the country has been below the 1,000 marks since January 9th.
