KUWAIT: Leader’s Group for Consulting and Development General Manager Nabila Al-Anjari hailed the first Kuwait Travelers Forum and its recommendations. Anjari deemed the forum as a national youth initiative that will enhance the culture of tourism.
 
Anjari had taken part in the forum recently organized by the Youth Authority and attended by scores of Kuwaiti travelers and stakeholders. The forum included various activities and came up with recommendations to activate tourism and create an alternative source of national income, facilitate the issue of entry visas, set special touristic programs and utilize social media in promoting Kuwaiti heritage.

In a speech she delivered under the title of ‘Tourism as a Means to Improve Life, Revive Economy and Achieve Strategic Development’, Anjari stressed Leader’s Group’s readiness to cooperate with the ministry of state for youth affairs in such projects and initiatives.

Speaking about her own experience in tourism and hospitality, Anjari stressed that tourism is a humane, economic and sociocultural activity. She urged all concerned bodies to promote the concept of ‘Tourism, a Means and Goal’ and utilize tourism in boosting living standards, that will eventually lead to a flourishing economy and integrated strategic development.

Anjari stressed a plan has been already set to utilize tourism in creating new sources of income, creating over 25,000 new job opportunities and promote Kuwait as a touristic destination.
