As we navigate our way through the current uncertain times, staying positive is most definitely at the top of everyone’s list. Finding things that spark joy can come in many forms, not least from a little online retail therapy. So, whether it’s a treat for yourself or a gift to make someone smile, online sales have been soaring in the region as consumers stay home and safe while shopping from the comfort of their own homes.

With this in mind and given many of the UAE community have found their own personal financial situation altered due to reduced salaries, a little helping hand to ensure shoppers can still comfortably make online purchases and manage their outgoings is truly welcomed, in the form of Tabby.

Founded by the team behind award winning online retail site Namshi, Tabby provides consumers across the UAE and soon to launch Saudi Arabia with the flexibility to pay for their online and offline purchases either in a deferred single payment or in multiple installments. Customers need not enter their credit or debit card details when making a purchase and with this Tabby offers a fantastic alternative to cash on delivery.

Put simply, Tabby enables you to enjoy the things you’d like to buy right away and pay for them later!

Consumers can shop now and pay for their orders in 14 days or in monthly installments.  You can apply for Tabby at a partner store checkout and confirm your purchase with a 4-digit SMS PIN that is sent to your mobile. No interest or additional fees are charged unless otherwise stated. You can also pay for your purchases before the due date by logging into your Tabby account and making a secure payment via debit or credit card.

Tabby has already partnered with one of the largest retail groups in the Middle East, Apparel Group to offer Buy Now Pay Later on 6thStreet.com, in addition to brands like Tommy Hilfiger and Aldo across the region.  It’s also available on other leading regional sites including Abdul Samad Al Qurashi, Golden Scent and The Good Life and is close to confirming agreements with many other prestigious retail groups in the Middle East, with more announcements to follow soon.

“We're excited to be able to offer a Buy-Now, Pay-Later service that provides great value to consumers and retailers alike. The retail environment is extremely challenging at the moment, and providing a service that gives customers the flexibility to spread their purchases over multiple payments at no cost is very much needed” said Hosam Arab, Founder and CEO of Tabby.
