Dubai, United Arab Emirates - American Hospital Dubai – one of the leading pioneers of private healthcare in the Middle East – is set to start the fit out of its second community clinic off-campus serving the growing population in Dubai's residential community of Al Barsha.

The new clinic will be strategically located in the newly constructed Galleria Mall Al Barsha, near Al Barsha Pond Park, and will offer the same quality of care for all members of the family through a dedicated team from American Hospital Dubai, which has served local and regional patients from its main campus since opening in 1996. The hospital's new Al Barsha Clinic is expected to open in the last quarter of 2018.

American Hospital Dubai's Al Barsha Clinic will offer a range of services for all members of the family, starting with primary care, endocrinology, dermatology, and physiotherapy. The 11,500 square foot clinic will have a dedicated physician team supported by an on-site nursing team and support staff. Once open, the Al Barsha Clinic will offer close and convenient access to high quality primary care for patients in the nearby residential areas, as well as access to the American Hospital Dubai's full range of specialty services and diagnostics at the main hospital campus.

Commenting on the new clinic, American Hospital Dubai's Chief Medical Officer and Acting CEO, Dr. Robert Courteney-Harris, said: "We are excited to start the fit out of the American Hospital Dubai's Al Barsha Clinic. We have always been one of the leaders in private healthcare and the latest addition to our clinics continues this tradition. This major development reflects our commitment to continue to serve the community of Dubai. Our plan is to take our established quality of care closer to our patients in Al Barsha and surrounding neighborhoods to meet their evolving needs."

Mr. Miltos Bossinis, the CEO of H&H Investment and Development, stated: “We are delighted that American Hospital has become a partner in the Galleria Mall Al Barsha. American Hospital is renowned as a standard bearer throughout Dubai for quality private healthcare which is in line with our vision of delivering bespoke quality developments that enhance communities and redefine the urban fabric of the UAE”. He continued, “H&H is delighted to develop and manage Galleria Mall Al Barsha, another great retail development which we strongly believe will follow the steps of the already successful Galleria Mall located in Jumeirah”.

Al Barsha clinic will complement AHD’s existing clinic in Dubai Media City (DMC) which is located in the Business Central Towers on Sheikh Zayed Road and will bring high quality care closer to an even wider part of the Dubai community. In the DMC clinic, that first opened its doors in 2015, patients can get a feel of what they can expect from the new Al Barsha clinic once it opens.
