HAMBURG - A United Nations aid agency has recently purchased around 50,000 tonnes of milling wheat to be shipped to Yemen, European traders said on Tuesday.

The wheat is expected to be sourced from the Black Sea region, most likely Romania.

It will be shipped in December from the Romanian port of Constanta.

The U.N. has been providing widespread food aid to Yemen as the conflict continues in the country.
