HAMBURG- The lowest offer in the international tender from Tunisia's state grains agency on Tuesday to purchase 125,000 tonnes of soft milling wheat was $217.85 a tonne c&f for optional-origin supplies, European traders said.

No purchase has yet been made and results are expected later on Tuesday, they said.

The lowest offer in the tender for 25,000 tonnes of animal feed barley was $229.69 a tonne c&f.

The agency does not always purchase the lowest offer if other conditions are seen as unattractive.

The wheat was sought in five 25,000-tonne consignments for shipment between May 15 and July 15, depending on origin supplied, they said.

The barley was sought in one 25,000-tonne consignment for shipment between June 5 and June 25, also depending on origin, they said.
