Riyadh –  The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) witnessed an increase in the number of portfolios by female investors during the third quarter (Q3) of the year, by around 13,000 investors.

Tadawul’s quarterly newsletter showed an increase in female investors to 1.016 million, compared with around one million in Q3-18, reaching the highest level in two years.

The report showed that the number of investor portfolios reached 8.806 million during Q3-19, compared with 9.75 million in the same period last year, declining by 9.7%.

Individual investors grew to 4.77 million investors, compared with 4.72 million investors in Q3-18.
