St. Petersburg, Russia: Ministry of Finance high-ranking officials, including Deputy Undersecretary of Financial Affairs, Aziz Al-Uthman, are attending the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) 2018 in Russia.
During the 3-day event, representatives of Qatar’s Ministry of Finance are scheduled to meet with international counterparts, key financial instutions and officials from partner countries to build and further enhance the nation’s bilateral relations with the global community.
The SPIEF 2018, which will focus on “Building an Economy of Trust”, will see 15,000 participants from over 70 countries attend to discuss avenues to solve differences and increase the potential global growth.

About the Ministry of Finance
The Qatar Ministry of Finance (MoF) regulates the nation’s financial policy, and oversees the State of Qatar’s public finances. Its responsibilities include the drafting and implementation of Qatar's annual budget, and the ongoing management and refinement of fiscal strategy, in line with the Qatar National Vision 2030.
