Engineering Contracting Company (ECC) has been appointed as the main contractor for Summer, Surf, Bayshore and Sunset low to mid-rise residential buildings within the Dubai Creek Harbour master development, a source aware of the project details said.

ECC was appointed the main contractor at the end of March 2020, the source said, adding that initially China State Construction Engineering Corporation had been finalised as the contractor in January 2020. He didn't elaborate on the reasons for the new appointment.

A second source said the estimated $85 million Summer project comprises of four buildings hosting a total of 298 apartments and is scheduled for completion in December 2022. He said the estimated $50 million Surf project consists of two towers with a total of 146 apartments and is scheduled for completion in October 2023; the $70 million Bayshore is scheduled for completion in April 2023 and consists of four buildings with a total of 304 apartments, while the $60 million Sunset is scheduled for completion in December 2023 and consists of buildings.

Dar SSH International Engineering Consultants has been mandated as design, lead and structural consultants for all four projects, a third source added.

Dubai Creek Harbour is a joint venture between Dubai Holding and Emaar Properties.
