New directive in Kuwait for sick leaves endorsed by public clinics and hospitals

KUWAIT CITY: Education Ministry Undersecretary Dr Haitham Al-Athari issued a directive to all workers in public schools and educational districts regarding sick leaves endorsed by public clinics and hospitals, reports Al-Anba daily.

According to the directive, the public schools and educational districts should not approve sick leave applications endorsed by public clinics and hospitals without going through the Public Medical Council.
