Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) has signed two new contracts to remediate soil contaminated by oil spills in North and South Kuwait, as part of the Kuwait Environmental Rehabilitation Program (KERP).

CEO Emad Mahmoud Sultan represented the Company in signing the contracts. DCEO (Major Projects & Technical Services) Khalid Al-Otaibi, DCEO (Commercial & Common Services) Abdul Wahab Al-Mithin, in addition to senior officials from KOC and the two contracting companies Hangzhou Zaopin and HEISCO, attended the signing ceremony.

The contracts aim to implement projects to remediate and repair polluted soil in the second and third area in North and South Kuwait due to the Iraqi invasion.- TradeArabia News Service
