MANAMA: KLM Royal Dutch Airlines has announced it will resume operations to Bahrain from Wednesday.

The airline said it will start with two flights per week (on Wednesday and Sunday) operated with an Airbus 330-200 aircraft.

Air France KLM, Gulf, Iran and Pakistan general manager Yeshwant Pawar said to prevent further spread of the new Covid variants, passengers travelling to/via Netherlands should take the rapid antigen test before departure.

“Passengers travelling from Bahrain should take the rapid antigen test at the airport clinic near Gate 19 within four hours prior to departure of the flight. This is in addition to the PCR certificate requested to travel to the Netherlands,” added Mr Pawar.

“All of our flights are operated with additional sanitary measures to ensure our passengers’ safety.”
