HAMBURG  - Jordan's main state grains buyer has again issued an international tender to purchase 120,000 tonnes of hard milling wheat, European traders said on Friday.

The tender closes on July 26.

Shipment is sought in various possibilities in 50,000 tonne consignments between Sept. 16 and Nov. 15.

Jordan has had difficulty making purchases in a series of grain tenders in recent months, with traders saying uncertainty about quality specifications and payment terms has reduced participation by major grain exporting houses.

Jordan made no purchase in its previous wheat tender on Thursday when no trading houses took part.

It also made no purchases in other wheat tenders on July 8, June 27, June 13 and June 6.

Jordan has also issued a separate tender for 120,000 tonnes of feed barley which closes on July 24 after also failing to purchase in a barley tender on Tuesday when only three trading houses participated.
