HAMBURG/CAIRO- Jordan's state grain buyer has made no purchase in an international tender to buy 120,000 tonnes of milling wheat which closed on Wednesday, European traders said.

Only two trading companies, CHS and Ameropa, participated.

A new tender is expected to be issued soon closing on Sept. 27.

Jordan has struggled to make purchases in a series of grain tenders in recent months, with traders saying uncertainty about quality specifications and payment terms has reduced participation by major grain exporting houses GRA/TEND .
