HAMBURG- Jordan's state grain buyer has made no purchase in an international tender to buy 120,000 tonnes of milling wheat which closed on Wednesday, European traders said.
A new tender is expected to be issued soon.
Only one trading house, Ameropa, participated in the tender.
Jordan has struggled to make purchases in a series of grain tenders in recent months, with traders saying uncertainty about quality controls and payment terms has reduced participation by major grain exporting houses. GRA/TEND
Jordan also made no purchase in a tender for 120,000 tonnes of barley on Tuesday when three trading houses participated.
