Manama:–INJAZ Bahrain, member of Junior Achievement Worldwide (JA), will participate in INJAZ Al Arab’s 13th Annual Young Arab Entrepreneurs Competition that will be held in Oman from November 4th to 7th, 2019. The competition will see 19 teams from 13 countries across MENA compete over different award categories before their peers and a panel of high-profile judges.  

The INJAZ Al-Arab Young Entrepreneurs Competition is the culmination of six months of experiential learning and application based on INJAZ Al- Arab’s internationally acclaimed company program. The annual competition brings together students from 13 Arab countries who previously won the National Company Program Competition in their respective countries after demonstrating sound knowledge in business planning, market research, marketing, sales and feasibility studies.

INJAZ Bahrain will be represented by team ‘MagTag’ from Ibn Khuldoon National School competing in the Schools Category and team ‘Al Fazaa’ from Applied Science University competing in the Universities Category.

Ms. Hana Sarwani, Executive Director – INJAZ Bahrain took the initiative to support the students and commented on their participation: “We are proud to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain at the Young Arab Entrepreneur Competition. Having reached the final stages at the competition is considered success and we look forward to winning this year.”

The19 teams will be competing to win in the following award categories: University Company of the Year, High School Company of the Year, University Product of the Year, High School Product of the Year, University Company for Best Social Impact and High School Company for Best Social Impact.

Launched in 2007, The INJAZ Al Arab Competition for Young Entrepreneurs aims to enhance the entrepreneurial skills of Arab youth, create job opportunities in the market and stimulate the economy.

The regional competition is organized in partnership with esteemed global and regional entities, mainly The Zubair Corporation, FedEx, MBC Al Amal, Citi Foundation, Boeing, MetLife, MasterCard & Investcorp.
