Cairo – Mubasher: East Delta Flour Mills recorded an 11.1% year-on-year profit hike during fiscal year 2018/2019.

Net profits increased to EGP 147.64 million in the twelve-month period ended 30 June, compared to EGP 132.87 million in the year-ago period, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.

The company generated revenues of EGP 546 million in FY18/19, down from EGP 730.12 million in the prior fiscal year.

During the first nine months of FY18/19, the EGX-listed firm’s net profit after taxes stood at EGP 97.64 million, compared to EGP 89.66 million in the year-ago period.

Meanwhile, revenues plunged by 33.97% year-on-year to EGP 383.31 million in the nine-month period ended 31 March from EGP 580.47 million.
