Dubai Municipality raided 'random markets' in the city on Saturday and confiscated twenty tonnes of goods being sold there.

The seized materials and goods were then destroyed by the municipality officials.

A statement issued on Dubai Municipality's official Twitter account said that the Environmental Emergency Office at the Health and Safety Department organised a campaign on random markets in Al Quoz industrial area in coordination and cooperation with the Waste Management Department.
