Leading Dubai developer Emaar and WSP, one of the world's leading professional services consulting firms, have jointly announced the topping out of the over 340-m-tall Il Primo Tower in Dubai Opera District.

Situated on the north side of the Opera House between The Dubai Mall and the Burj Khalifa, the tower will house a 77-storey structure with podium and six levels of basement and parking.

The units are masterfully crafted with spellbinding views of the iconic structures of the city and come with an array of amenities and luxuries such as marble floors, ambient lighting, and modern art. VVIPs can opt for extra large units which offer sweeping views and floor to ceiling windows, said the statement from Emaar.

With proximity to major roads and the Dubai Metro, the whole city will be within easy reach of residents as well as visitors of this iconic tower, it added.

This momentous milestone of the supertall building reaching its utmost structural height was celebrated during an exclusive ceremony which was attended by key dignitaries and project stakeholders.

Bader Hareb, of Emaar Development, said: "Set in the heart of the Opera District in Downtown Dubai, Il Primo Tower is uniquely positioned to deliver an unparalleled lifestyle experience for residents upon its completion."

"This latest engineering feat brings the vision for Il Primo one step closer to reality, and we now direct our focus to the steel crown construction, faade installations and continue the MEP, Fire & Life Safety, Acoustics, fit-out and interior finishing works," stated Hareb.

"On completion, Il Primo will strengthen Emaar Developments world-class portfolio of developments and offer accessible luxury to all residents and customers, he added.
