Dubai: Pfizer announced today the appointment of Lindsey Dietschi as Cluster Lead for the Gulf states within its Emerging Markets business unit. Dietschi's experience spans more than 17 years heading various global roles. Previously, Dietschi was the Pfizer Global Health Partnerships Lead, where she oversaw Pfizer's commercial programs that drive greater health and wellbeing for the most underserved populations across Africa, Asia, Latin America, and the Middle East.
In her new role, Dietschi will oversee the Pfizer business in the United Arab Emirates, Bahrain, Kuwait and Oman and Yemen.
Commenting on her appointment, Dietschi said: " It is exciting time to be here and continue our journey in the Gulf where Pfizer has been operating and serving patients needs for over 40 years”.
She added: "I look forward to leading this organization to forge even closer partnerships and alliances with communities, and governments to change and impact the lives of millions of people across the Gulf countries. We have a truly fantastic team in each of the countries, and together, we will continue to deliver breakthroughs that meet critical patient needs. Ensuring greater access to our medicines and vaccines, and driving new awareness programs across our strategic therapeutic areas will remain our top priority."
In her previous role, Dietschi was responsible for advancing Pfizer's key alliances in vaccines, family planning, and oncology, including those with Gavi, the Vaccine Alliance, UNICEF, the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, and the Clinton Health Access Initiative.
Before that role, Dietschi was the Global Corporate Affairs Lead for Pfizer Vaccines.
