Dubai, United Arab Emirates (AETOSWire): National Computer Corporation UAE (NCC UAE) took part in the opening of the Security Innovation Lab in Dubai Police. The opening ceremony, which took place on February 27, was attended by HH Sheikh Mansoor bin Mohammed al Maktoum, His Excellency Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Marri, Commander-in-Chief of the Dubai Police and Oleg Fomin, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Dubai and Northern Emirates.

NCC UAE acted as a strategic partner representing the best Russian practices for digitalizing key government sectors of the emirate of Dubai in the framework of the concept of a smart and safe city.

NCC UAE specialists created an IT infrastructure in Dubai Police Security Innovation Lab based on Aquarius equipment developed by the NCC. This technology platform will demonstrate the best modern solutions created by Russian companies and tested at Russian enterprises and organizations. At the first stage of the Security Innovation Lab, the following four classes of solutions are presented:

  • Mobile videoconferencing complex designed to provide sustainable and secure video conferencing services.
  • BIM class system - 3D-modeling of a complex of engineering and IT systems of buildings that can seriously improve the quality of construction projects.
  • InOne platform is used for projects to transfer large corporate systems into a single information space.

Oleg Fomin, Consul General of the Russian Federation in Dubai and Northern Emirates: “The launch of the Security Innovation Lab in Dubai Police will take the cooperation between Russian and UAE businesses and government agencies to a completely new level. We hope that this will help to increase the awareness of Russian technologies in the Middle East region and will facilitate the further development of Russian vendors in these markets”.
