Cairo – In the presence of a number of Ambassadors and celebrities, Emaar Misr has organized Art and Deco exhibition for art and furniture, in cooperation with Cleg Art Gallery and Madar Furniture and Decoration, at the Uptown Cairo Sales Center in the heart of Cairo.

The exhibition comes as part of Emaar Misr’s framework in hosting and sponsoring cultural and artistic events, in order to support the art scene and in particular to promote Egyptian artists. The exhibition, held over four days through to March 7th, will be attended by 62 artists. The works of Egyptian artists such as Salah Taher, Youssef Francis, Abdel Aziz Darwish, and Kamel Mostafa will be exhibited. The exhibition also features workshops and artistic trends such as plastic art through the works of Ahmed Dafrawy, Abou Bakr Al Nawawy, Abdel Aziz Al Tamimi, and abstract art with the works of Britt Boutros Ghaly, Fayrouz Samir, and Katrina Vrebalovich.

Hassan El Sharq presents folkloric arts, while realistic arts are presented by Sami Abdallah and Amany Hamada, Eslam El Rehany and Islam Nagdi will present Cubism, while George Bahgoury and Mohsen Aboul Azm will showcase caricature art. The surrealist arts of the artist Nabil Ali, and the sculptures by Ahmed Abdel Wahab, Rana Chalaby, Ihab El Assiouty, Ammar Shiha will also be featured.

During the exhibition, a panel discussion was held with the participation of artists Ayman Taher and Hassan Al-Shark, interior designers Nihal Leheta, Hisham Ghorab, Karim El Hayawan, and Mohamed Attia to discuss modern and classic trends in interior design that mix between paintings and furniture.
