Dubai - Construction Technology Festival (CTF) is back for its third edition. The highly-anticipated physical event will be hosted in person on June 1 and 2, 2021. With 200+ attendees, the event gathers global Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) leaders to share new digital methods that help design, build and operate assets better, and deliver projects more efficiently, quickly, sustainably and safely.

CTF will bring insights from 60+ renowned speakers to the fore as they shed light on the technologies that worked for them and how companies can implement these tools. With 10+ digital disciplines taking centre stage, insights from digital leaders in the AEC industry will help propel growing companies to success by embracing digital transformation.

On June 2, CTF will host the first of its kind Construction Technology Awards to celebrate best-in-class use and leadership of technology within the built environment. Over 50 shortlisted projects, organisations, and people will compete across hotly-contested categories including Digital Transformation, BIM Implementation and Construction Technology Leader of the Year.

CTF is organised by Ventures Connect, a partnership between b2b Connect and Ventures Middle East, two businesses committed to empowering companies across the MENA region while enabling critical connections with key stakeholders and decision makers across various industries.

Why attend CTF?

CTF 2021’s theme is embracing innovation and sustainability within the built environment. Prior to COVID-19, the AEC industry was on the cusp of a new industry 4.0 era. While a host of digital trends were already in motion, they were rapidly expedited by the pandemic. Safety and cost control are now more important than ever, and CTF is where key players can discuss strategies and solutions to bring greater efficiency and resilience to the industry. Embracing the opportunity to reimagine the industry’s future, attendees can explore best-in-class methods to enrich their businesses.

For those looking to register for the event, it’s not too late.

Meet the speakers and partners

Attendees can expect to explore pressing industry topics as 60+ speakers take to the stage; including prestigious organisations like Red Sea Development Company, Amaala, Dubai Municipality, Saudi Aramco, ASGC Construction, CallisonRTKL, ICD Brookfield Place, AECOM and more as part of the lineup.

Agenda topics include Digital Transformation, advanced applications of BIM, Offsite Manufacturing and Productised Construction, AEC Data, Digital Twins, Internet of Things, Machine Learning, 3D Printing, among others.

CTF is supported by a reputable range of partners including Joblio, Knauf, SpaceMaker, Traxxeo, Conser Group, Amana / Dubox, Everest Industries, Aksa Generators, Trans Gulf, Ideal Standard, Tenderd, Bloqwork Technology, Wrench Solutions, Dell Technologies and Wakecap.

CTF is supported by Headline Partner, Joblio

CTF is supported by its Headline Partner, Joblio, a technology-based platform and compliance engine that facilitates ethical recruitment.

Joblio is entering the UAE market, debuting its company to regional industry stakeholders at CTF. It aims to disrupt the region’s labour market by digitising the ecosystem, introducing ethics, transparency and efficiency.

In the spotlight will be Jon Purizhansky, the CEO and founder of Joblio and David Arkless, Chairman. Mr. Arkless is a regular advisor to governments in the United States, several European countries, and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. He is the founder of the Future Work Consortium, former president of the board of End Human Trafficking Now, co-chairman of the Business Coalition Against Trafficking, board member of the Education for Employment, and initiator of the UK Modern Day Slavery Act.

With the creation of the National Human Rights Authority, the UAE has identified a need for greater protection of migrant workers as part of its goal to empower vulnerable segments of society.

Since much of the UAE’s construction workforce is made up of people who are impoverished and cannot read, new laws to protect their rights are vital in the nation’s journey to ethical recruitment.

Jon Purizhansky, CEO and founder of Joblio says, “Joblio will help eliminate fraud within the global industry of international relocation of migrant workers. This will be done by using a platform that directly connects employers with foreign job applicants, leaving middlemen out of the picture. This complements the UAE’s mission to safeguard migrant workers’ rights, bringing the construction industry closer to ethical recruitment”.
