KIEV- Ukraine's grain exports are up 24% at 39.5 million tonnes so far in the 2019/20 July-June season, the Ministry for Development of Economy, Trade and Agriculture said on Monday.
Wheat exports rose to 16.4 million tonnes, the ministry said in a statement. Ukraine also exported about 4 million tonnes of barley and 18.7 million tonnes of corn, it added.
The country harvested a record 75.1 million tonnes of grain in 2019, compared with 70 million tonnes in 2018.
