HAMBURG- Tunisia's state grains agency has purchased about 75,000 tonnes of soft wheat in an international tender which closed on Thursday, European traders said.

The wheat was said to have been bought in three 75,000 tonne consignments, two at an estimated $259.82 and $262.42 a tonne c&f both from trading house Soufflet.

The third was bought at an estimated $259.89 a tonne c&f from Casillo.

The wheat was sought for shipment between May 15 and June 25 depending on origin supplied. In its last reported soft wheat tender on March 18, Tunisia's state grains agency purchased about 117,000 tonnes at $298.49 and $302.19 a tonne c&f.
