Syria issues local tender to import 150,000 tonnes wheat flour -trade

HAMBURG - A Syrian state grains agency has issued a local tender to import about 150,000 tonnes of wheat flour, European traders said on Monday.

Deadline for offer submissions in the tender from Syria's General Establishment for Cereal Processing, Storage and Trade (Hoboob) is Nov. 18, they said.

Offers should be submitted in Syrian pounds. The tender is restricted to companies in Syria, they said.

Another local tender for wheat flour from the agency had closed in October.
