DUBAI, Aug 31 (Reuters) - State-run Saudi Aramco has set its September contract price for propane at $295 per tonne, raising it from $285 per tonne in August, the company said on Wednesday.

The price provides a benchmark against which Middle East sales of liquified petroleum gas (LPG) to Asia are priced.

Saudi Aramco's contract prices for propane and butane per tonne in U.S. dollars were set as follows:

Product Sept August Change

Propane $295 $285 +$10
