DUBAI  - Saudi Arabia's state grain buyer SAGO is seeking to buy 600,000 tonnes of wheat in an international tender, it said on Thursday.

The deadline for offers from is April 26, SAGO said in a statement.

The wheat should be of 12.5 percent protein content and is to be delivered between July and September.

The tender called for 10 cargoes of wheat to be purchased. Delivery would be split between the sea ports of Jeddah, with 360,000 tonnes, and Dammam with 240,000 tonnes, SAGO said.

In its last wheat tender purchase, SAGO bought 625,000 tonnes in early March for delivery from April to June.
