DUBAI - Saudi Arabia's state grain buyer SAGO said on Monday it had bought 1.02 million tonnes of animal feed barley in its latest international purchasing tender.

The barley was purchased at an average price of $216.62 per tonne.

The origins offered were the European Union, Australia, North America (excluding Canada), South America and the Black Sea region, with the seller having the option of selecting the source country, said SAGO Governor Ahmad Al Fares.

SAGO said these purchases were made in dollars per tonne all for 2020 arrival; with prices in dollars per tonne on a cost and freight (C&F) basis, and delivery periods between brackets:

In its last barley tender on Sept. 30, SAGO also bought 1.02 million tonnes at an average price of $209.95 a tonne and origins included Australia, the European Union, the Black Sea and North and South America, at the seller's option.
